Going Overseas

HAD TO SHOW THE PUSSY BITCH I BEEN THAT, AND BITCH I STILL IS

You asked, I delivered. The new US location is live, along with the long-awaited server configurator.

Plans/offers are phased out, you can now independently customize each of your server's specs to match your needs.

Some other changes:

IPv6 when?

The new location is IPv6 capable and a /48 is routed to it, however the code to actually handle IPv6 (specifically IPv6-only VMs) is not written yet, so for now you have to buy an IPv4 address to be able to actually use the VM.

It's high on the priority list right now and I hope I can get it working early next month.

What about Kusari?

For the purposes of running a Monero node, Kusari was sold with a guarantee that the disk will be automatically extended whenever the Monero blockchain gets close to filling up the 200GB (- however much an average OS uses).

Last time I checked the blockchain was still under 200 GB, however, when the blockchain goes over ~190 GB, I'll make a script to check every Danbo that used to be a Kusari (the old offer ID was preserved in the database). The script will scan all ports on your IP and look for a Monero node. If any is found and the disk usage looks like you're running a full node, your disk will be extended.

Because the Fediverse sucks and is fucking dead, I caved in and created a X(itter) account for Kyun. WE NEED TO GET OUR CLOUT UP ASAP!
