Bricks

Off-white Bricks, light tan Bricks, just hit a lick, for 50 more Bricks, ballin' like a bitch, with all these Bricks

Bricks are virtual disks that can be attached and detached to and from any Danbo in the same datacenter as the Brick.

Inside the VM, they show up as regular raw disks (/dev/sdx), and you can format them with any filesystem you like.

They run off HDDs and are intended for less performance-intensive uses (as opposed to the main SSD storage of your Danbo), such as media storage.

For now, Bricks are only available in Romania. The current price for the initial ~20TB beta run is 5 EUR/TB/month. This price will probably increase a bit for future restocks, so get 'em while they're hot.

There is an usage % indicator if the Brick is formatted as ext*, xfs or btrfs, although it's pretty flaky right now, so don't panic if the disk shows up as unformatted in the Dashboard.
